Joe Burkley
Joe grew up in Utah in the Sugarhouse Holladay area.  After graduating from high school in 1983, Joe attended Utah State University where he earned his BA in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning.  Two weeks following his graduation he married and moved just north of San Francisco, California where he was treated with two firsts in his life. The Loma Prieta Earthquake and his first world series. In 1994 the first of three children were born and the family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. Joe received his master's degree in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University in 1998 and worked as the Director of Technology for EDAW, an International Architectural and Planning firm with offices on every continent but Africa and Antartica. In 2005 Joe moved back to Utah and started his career in Financial Planning.

Today Joe is helping members at American United Credit Union plan their financial futures. He has been working with Credit Union members since 2007.

Joe and his family like to spend their time hiking and biking in the Uintah Mountains, fishing Utah's lakes and streams, playing hockey and soccer, attending sporting events (especially his kid's sporting events) and spending time working at their ranch near Tabiona, Utah. He also enjoys diving and is looking forward to re-certifying to fly single engine airplanes. Joe considers himself a born again Utahn and claims to appreciate everything Utah has to offer much more since moving back to Salt Lake City in 2005.
